I spent years surviving.
Now, I’m learning
how to live.

My story holds pain, addiction, loss—and the grace to begin again.

Sobriety gave me a new beginning. Faith helped me take the next step. And somewhere along the way, I began finding the woman I wanted to become.

I’m a mother, a runner, and a writer from West Michigan. I’m sharing my journey because I know what it feels like to wonder whether change is still possible. My life is an ongoing answer to that question.

A memoir about letting go, getting sober, and finding a life rooted in faith.

I’m writing the story of where I’ve been, what I’ve learned, and who I’m becoming. A story of honest reflection, second chances, and the hope that even our most difficult chapters can hold meaning.

At the heart of this memoir is the moment I heard God speak to me in a way that was so beautiful and direct. Choosing to listen was the best thing that ever happened to me—and it changed the course of my life.
